Petition Letter: Dear Dean,

I have been facing a mental illness for the past five years and I missed my injection earlier this year in January, which caused the delay in my education this semester I was sick for the past four months as I had not received my injection and I was not in touch with my psychiatrist, although I was productive in my own way I still was not doing schoolwork. Now my doctor has said my psychiatrist to be formative has declared that I cannot study this semester and it’s due to my mental illness, which is now a mental disability for me. I will be a disabled student again. I thought I was not going to be a disabled student, but I was back in the hospital and I was receiving treatment, so I just decided to declare myself a disabled student until further notice until I am cured. I hope you can pardon me and allow me to drop my courses after the deadline I would like to receive reimbursement for the fees as I do not benefit from the course as I had missed three weeks additionally, the courses didn’t have classroom time, zoom meetings or anything so I didn’t do much learning. It was mostly self taught therefore, I would like to take these courses in the future, and I would like to drop them for now without financial penalty. I hope you agree with me and understand and sympathize with me and conclude this with me thank you.
