Petition Letter:
To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing to respectfully request a retroactive withdrawal from ANAT215, which I completed during Fall 2022. I am petitioning for this exception because I did not perform well in the course and, upon reflection, it was not required for my degree progression. I initially enrolled in the course with the intention of strengthening my academic foundation, but I now realize it was not aligned with the prerequisites or content areas relevant to my graduate program plans.

My performance in the course does not reflect my overall academic commitment or abilities. It occurred during a period where I was reevaluating my path toward graduate study. I have since clarified my academic goals and am preparing to take two online anatomy courses (ANAT100 and ANAT380) this year that are directly relevant to the graduate program I intend to apply for..

A withdrawal from this course would allow my academic record to more accurately reflect the courses that are essential to my long-term goals and would support a more coherent and focused transcript for future graduate applications.
