Petition Letter: Hello,
Throughout the summer, I was struggling with a number of extenuating circumstances that made multiple symptoms of my health issues worse. I had a number of family issues, and I was dealing with the worsening of my health among other things. The health issues I've mentioned are registered with QSAS, and I have been in contact with my QSAS advisor. Due to these issues, I have been unable to finish this course in a timely manner. In first year, I was able to get on Dean's list, and this course and my summer marks is not a reflection of myself nor my abilities as a student. I've been advised to petition to late drop this course by QSAS, and my symptoms can be confirmed by both a doctor at student wellness and a therapist if necessary.
