Petition Letter

Petition Letter: To whom it may concern,

I am a Queen's ArtSci alumni and I graduated last year in November of 2024. I was thinking of taking some courses after graduating but then I got a job working with a company abroad so I tried to withdraw from those courses in the end of November before the winter semester began. On my end it showed that I was no longer enrolled in any courses, however come January I started getting emails about course work for two of the courses that I had previously selected, I checked my OnQ and the courses were there so I went back and checked my Solus. When I clicked on the drop courses option again and after it showed that I was not enrolled in anything. I called student assistance I believe to make sure I wasn't enrolled and told them I was getting course information even though my solus showed that I was not actively enrolled and to please make sure I was removed. I stopped receiving course emails so it seemed that the problem had been rectified. However, today I went to check my transcripts as I am looking into masters programs now and the two courses were there with F grades, and it says that I have an outstanding balance to pay for the courses. I would like to request that these grades and the associated fees be removed from my account and transcript/GPA given that I was not a student present on campus in the winter of 2025, and I previously tried to have them removed and clearly something went wrong. If need be I can request proof from my employer that shows that I was working and living out of the country at the time of these two courses (please let me know if you need this), but hopefully they can just be removed since it is clear that i didn't do any course work for either course.

Thank you,
Sophie Carter
