Petition Letter: Hi there, I am writing a petition to drop GEOL 107 after the drop deadline.
This past summer my parents split and me and mother moved out and since then I have had to work a lot more hours to be able to afford rent and groceries and everything else that comes with that. I feel I am starting to get the hand of working this many hours, but throughout the first half of the semester I have not had a lot of time for school. I believe It would be better for me to drop this course because it will be very hard for me to catch up on all the work I have not been able to get too because I have been working so much. I appreciate your understanding of this request and I hope something can be worked out.
