Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Hello, My name is Sarp Aygen student number: 20481408. I have requested a petition before to get a few classes as CR from my first year and got it granted but I realized I forgot to list 2 of them which would affect my studies. Unfortunately right before first year of university I had some unfortunate extenuating circumstance happen to me which was my father passing away which affected my mental health immensely and cause me to not do as well as I should have during my first year of studies at Queen's university. It caused me a lot of mental trauma since me and him were very close and I could not focus on my studies at all. This year I am doing a lot better as I have gotten a lot of help from friends and family who supported me through my difficult journey. I hope to not have my first year grades affect my academic records as I know I can accomplish much more but I was in a really dark place in my first year. Therefore I really hope that you can grant my CR request for these two classes from first year. Thank you so much.
