Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I am petitioning for an extension of an exam deferral for BIOL 102 and BIOL 103. The deferred exam for both was scheduled for January 18th. Unfortunately my grandmother passed away suddenly, and her funeral is the same weekend, in Quebec. Growing up, I was incredibly close with my grandmother - her death came as a surprise and has affected me profoundly. It is extremely important to be able to attend my grandmother’s funeral and both receive and give support to my family. I apologize for the late petition - I have been in contact with the exams office and academic consideration, however I had some confusion on how to go about another deferred exam.
