Petition Letter: Hello,

I hope this letter finds you well. Over the course of my life I’ve suffered with Borderline Personality disorder and major clinical depression. I spent three years of my life in foster care due to an extremely turbulent home life. Over the past couple years I’ve been suffering with extremely strong depressive episodes on and off due to these issues, and one happened right over as the term started. I couldn’t get out of bed, I couldn’t attend classes, and I couldn’t eat. My therapist canceled on me during the first week, and it sent me on this spiral where I couldn’t access the help that I needed. These issues in my life have been steadily being worked on, and can be testified by my regular visits to Student Wellness for Shasha Wang and Dr Gemil, however these episodes in which my mental health completely lapses is completely beyond my control.
