Petition Letter

Petition Letter: I am submitting this petition to request permission to add POLS 112 – Enduring Political Debates (Lecture 5337, Tutorial 5346) after the add deadline.
Last week, I dropped another course while waiting for a decision on a waitlist, expecting I would be admitted. When that did not occur, I was left needing to add a replacement course in order to maintain a full course load. This situation arose very close to and just after the add deadline, which is why I am submitting this petition.
I contacted Nancy Salay regarding my request to join POLS 112. I have reviewed the course syllabus and am confident that I can catch up on any missed material immediately and participate fully going forward.
Thank you for your consideration.

Academic Plan

Academic Plan: If this petition is approved, I will immediately catch up on all missed POLS 112 lectures, readings, and tutorial content using the course syllabus and materials.

I have reviewed the course outline and confirmed that the workload is manageable alongside my current courses.

I will stay up to date by attending all lectures and tutorials and maintaining consistent weekly study time.

Adding POLS 112 will allow me to maintain a balanced full course load and support my academic progress this term.
