To whom it may concern:
I am appealing the incomplete status of SPAN P10, due to extenuating circumstances beyond my control, a severe personal illness. Throughout the 2014-2015 school year, I personally battled a severe illness that I was unaware of until it was too late. Upon being hospitalized I was unable to attend my SPAN P10 exam. My academic performance struggled over the year due to this illness as I was avidly not well. I struggled with attending classes and seeking help when I needed it. All my courses suffered this year. I intended for this year to be my comeback year after being sick in the past, however the illness took over. As I understand not all my courses can be saved, the only exam I was unable to bear through was SPAN P10 as I was hospitalized when it took place. Please refer to the attached documents. As well the La Salle clinic has the documentation of the day I sought out medical attention which took place immediately after my second to last exam. Where I was then transported back to my hometown and hospitalized.
Upon being given a cleaner bill of health currently, I have chosen my courses with great enthusiasm as I am greatly looking forward to returning and being an active member in the queen¿¿s community. I intend on advancing myself in Spanish as well as it has become a great interest of mine and potentially a large part of my future career. As I once again return to an active and healthy lifestyle. I look forward to advancing my knowledge here at Queen¿¿s and fully engaging myself in my studies. With the assistance of the academic and personal advisors, medical and personal support professionals, I¿¿m greatly looking forward to advancing my education career and graduating from Queen¿¿s University.
