Petition Letter: Last fall, my mother stopped responding to her cancer treatments (the attached letter has some details incorrect). My mental health, which was already frail due to many personal issues, deteriorated further. It took me a long time to recognize the severity of my condition until I resolved myself to pursue help at the university's mental health center. My mental health is still not in great condition, but I believe I am capable of completing these two courses and intend to get better throughout the semester.

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: I have had a good deal of issues, physical and otherwise, for myself and those closest to me. I have long denied or ignored them. The results have been poor. I personally consider visiting the universities mental health clinic a big step in facing and coming to term with these issues. I intend to continue to visit as frequently as possible/necessary, and I am fortunate enough to not have to face all of this alone.
