Petition Letter: I am making this request due to unforeseen and severe medical circumstances that directly affected my academic performance during this term. I live with Bipolar disorder and experienced an acute and abrupt exacerbation of symptoms beginning in February 2025 and persisting through May.

To properly explain the extenuating circumstances associated with this petition, this specific episode was distinct from previous challenges due to compounding factors, namely the onset of a significant and severe depressive phase and a necessary titration of sedative antipsychotics meant to protect my safety, respectively.
