Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Hello, I am requesting to drop the class KNPE 125. It is due to my poor grade and that I missed one of the three unit tests. This was fault of mine as I had gone through some mental struggles coming out of the reading break in February. Due to the complications, I had missed the exam and could not complete the assessment of part 1 and 2. I am requesting to drop as a DR option would be better than a fail. I understand that my actions are consequential and that I should have been more on top of things despite any personal issues and for that I apologize. My plan from now on is to receive help when necessary and retake the course for next year. Please take consideration to my petition.
