Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Hello,

I am writing a petition to add a class after the deadline. Last year I was forced to withdraw from studies for one year do to poor academic performance. This stemmed from a multitude of concussions I received that severely altered my physical and mental health. This past year I have done a lot of healing and reflecting with the help of the people around me and decided it would be possible to return to school. So recently I submitted a request to return to studies starting this summer term and it was recently approved. I have now regained access to my solus account to add courses. I really am looking forward to giving it my all and finishing my degree after many unforeseen circumstances. I made the mistake and marked the wrong day in my calendar to add a course for the summer term in solus, I take full accountability for the mistake made and understand that it was no ones fault but my own. I will understand if my petition does not go through, but I am asking that you please let me add my course so I can start off my return on a high note as I finish off my degree. Thank you for taking the time to review this and I have taken the appropriate steps in consulting with an academic advisor to assist me moving forward with this summer term to insure mistakes like these do not happen again.
