Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Since October 2025, I began suffering from depression. Since January, this depression became more severe, and I was having difficulty getting out of bed for days at a time, which had a debilitating effect on my ability to attend classes, complete assignments and study for exams. I started having suicidal thoughts. Since March, the depression and suicidal thoughts became active, and I was trying to get help just to survive. I have been recommended by multiple professionals, including psychiatrist Dr. Marin, to stay away from schoolwork and recuperate for the time being. Unfortunately, these issues have persisted to the deferred exam deadlines, and so I need further time on my exams and to have my classes marked as incomplete for an indefinite period, due to my inability to finish the remaining coursework.
