Petition Letter: To Whom It May Concern,
My name is Samantha Delfosse. I am a Fourth Year Political Studies major. I am writing you to request enrolment in the course Political Studies 341: Chinese Politics. I am currently taking the course LLCU 320 Fascism in Europe and I find that I am not as interested in the topic as I thought I would be. In the past I have done many courses that examine the political nature of a country and/or region (I.e. Middle Eastern Politics, British Politics etc.). With these types of courses I find that I have a stronger interest in the topics and am also more engaged. I have ADHD, therefore when I am not interested in the subject of a course it makes it very hard for me to learn the content. I have seen the course syllabus for Chinese politics and the topics are very much of interest to me. In addition due to the fact that I graduate in 2016 I need this course to fulfill academic requirements. For most of the enrolment period Chinese Politics was closed therefore making it impossible to enroll. This past Saturday (one day after the enrolment period) I checked the status of it and it says there are now spots open in the class however it was too late. If you could assist me in enrolling I would very much appreciate it.

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: A big aspect that would benefit me being in the course would be my ability to go home on the weekends and receive counseling. I also suffer from anxiety and regularly see a therapist. I have been seeing this therapist since I was 16. If enrolled in the course I will have Monday's and it will make it easier to book appointments.
