Petition Letter: Hello,
I am appealing to be admitted into the HIST 245 (Imperial Russia) course. Originally, I was in ARTH 210 but I did not gain a good understanding of the course because I missed the first class. I was away that day in Toronto to see a doctor for a pre-operation appointment for my surgery. Unfortunately, I wrongly assumed that I still had time to drop and add courses, which has landed me in my current predicament.
Currently, HIST 245 still has space for students. Furthermore, I am interested in Russian history (I took the Soviet Experiment last year) and would really like to be admitted into this class.
I would greatly appreciate it if I can get into that course. At the current moment, I am only taking 4 courses when I should be taking 5.
