Petition Letter: After being told that I wasn't able to come back to school last fall, my depressive episode got worse, much worse. For most of the last ten months, I withdrew into one of my worst depressive episodes to date. I was unable to do anything. I had zero motivation and was very depressed. It interrupted my daily routines, socializing, and completion of daily tasks and responsibilities. It is only now that I have been working with my therapist and my family doctors that I know it was the worst part of a much larger symptom of my major depressive disorder and generalized anxiety that has been progressively getting worse sense last year of June 2024, now I am working with my therapist of methods to work my way out and on a new medication regimen for treatment that I am able to resume to my daily life and responsibilities.
