Petition Letter: To Whom it May Concern,

I’m writing this letter as a petition to late drop a course: DEVS250. On February 26th, I had to undergo an invasive back surgery. I couldn’t attend class in person. I received accommodations and it was very helpful in support of two of the courses, which I was able to complete. I late dropped one, with a plan to take an incomplete in DEVS250. I am a single parent as well, and having my child full time in the summer with full-time work has made it difficult to complete the incomplete. I’m still recovering from surgery as well, so this upcoming semester I am planning accommodations and disability to enroll in a more realistic course load to avoid more late drops.
