My name is Mohamed Slaoui and my student number is 10102689. I have dropped English 100 from my classes on SOLUS on the 26th of September 2015 around 2 pm in hopes of replacing it with another course of my choosing. I was unaware that the deadline for adding a course was the 25th of September; I only thought that it was the deadline to remove a course without financial penalty. This confusion lead me to remove a course, and therefore 6.0 very precious credits that I need to complete my degree this year by the end of May, so that I can get into the faculty of education this summer. I would really like the change to re-add English 100 as one of my classes this year. I was going to see my faculty on this issue the moment they opened on that Monday morning of the 28th of September, but I was really busy with completing 3rd year Chemistry lab coursework that was due the very next day. I contacted my faculty the very next day of the 29th of September and was directed to appealing.

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: My plan for this course is to continue taking it, if you allow me to add it again. It will not hinder the grades that I will receive in the course, as I have been keeping up with the required reading and almost up to date. Re-adding this course will allow me to graduate this year, and move on to the faculty of education this summer. Without this course, I will have to wait an entire year, just to do this course next year, because the program I am looking to take at the faculty of education start each summer at Queen's, so if I don't get in this summer I will have to wait until next summer. I do not mean to rush my studies, but because I am able to perform well in the class and I this can get me to my future studies sooner, then I feel it is the best choice for me.
