Petition Letter: The reason for this appeal is that I am currently in an economics/history Medial buy want to switch into a history major economics minor. I have been in contact with the History department, in particular Deborah Stirton-Massey and was advised that in order to complete a major, I should drop Economics 255 which I would no longer need as a core course and pick up a second year history. Unfortunately the course deadline addition date had just passed. Therefore I am writing this note to try to get into History 245 Imperial Russia which seems like a interesting history course. The professor Ana Siljak has given me the go ahead to join the course as long as i receive permission from Queens Arts and Science Department.
Academic Plan
Academic Plan: In order to make up for the missed classes I plan to acquire the notes and by using them and the class readings to quickly catch up with the class curriculum. I am only applying a few days after the deadline so the amount of work needed to catch up will not take to long.
