Petition Letter
Petition Letter: I, Hyuksoon Hwang, am appealing to switch enrollment of ECON 110 which spans both the fall and winter terms, with the equivalent courses ECON 111 (fall) and ECON 112 (winter). ECON 110 is in the same timeslot as STAT 353 (winter), a course I require to satisfy my Degree Plan for graduation in the fall. This issue was only due to personal negligence, as I had only planned out my winter courses on paper instead of enrolling on Solus. A mistake in reading the timeslot for STAT 353 led me to believe that it was not in conflict with ECON 110.
Realising today (October 2nd, 2015) that my winter courses were not yet enrolled, I was confused as to why there were conflicts with my proposed schedule. Assuming that I had made the mistake, I quickly assessed my choices and came across the above solution. I am in understanding that this event was not a extenuating circumstance, but rather poor organization. However I do believe it will not hinder my academic performance if the changes were to occur as the material covered in ECON 110 (fall) does not vary from the material covered in ECON 111 up to this point.

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: As stated in the academic letter, the material covered in ECON 110 and ECON 111/112 are interchangeable. This leads me to believe the only change will be the location and time of lecture, for both of which I am prepared to assimilate into my schedule. I have already reviewed the course details for ECON 111/112 via SOLUS, and can confirm that the two courses will not conflict with other evening courses I may have.
