Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I did not apply for OSAP during the summer:
During the summer, before I applied for OSAP that year, I saw my account summary page and saw that I received only 0 to 3 000 per year. Since my father, brother, and I were all attending a college or university (Knox College, U of T St. George, Queens University, respectively), I assumed the tuition money was coming from their OSAP. One day, a good friend attending another university (Ryerson) with OSAP told me that only one application was needed for OSAP. I most probably misinterpreted this information as to meaning that I only needed to apply to OSAP once for the whole program. I assumed that through all the years, I had ¿¿reset¿ my OSAP application, rather than renewing it.
When applying for courses, I was in debt due to no OSAP money, which forced me to borrow money from my grandparents and to apply during open enrollment (August 25th). I was able to apply for all of my courses, except for CISC 365 since all the labs, except one, conflicted with CISC 327 - another mandatory course. I was certain that it was due to first years enrolling by mistake, as I have the first year. I listed myself on the waiting list until a spot opened and checked every day I could to see if I could enroll. One week before class (September 7th) I emailed Irene (Undergraduate Program Assistant) to see if I could find a way to enroll into the course. I received no response, but I did receive another letter from the registrar (September 9th) informing me of another debt and the following enrollment restrictions. I emailed OSAP directly and received another email (September 11th) to message the rewards office. As told, I informed the rewards office and this is when I was told that I was not applied to OSAP this year (September 17th). I then apply for OSAP (September 19th) and email the situation that I am in and alternative actions I can take so I can enroll in the course. The registrar emailed me to send an appeal form for registering with a debt (September 21st) in which I did send one over OUTLOOK to the link provided (September 23rd). I waited exactly one week for a response (October 1st), at which point I decided to visit the registrar directly. They told me my OSAP was accepted on September 25th and that I should be getting my first installment today (October 1st). I then email Irene again (October 2nd) telling her a shorter version of what happened and why I am enrolling late. She emails me back a few days later (October 5th) and tells me to send an online appeal for late registration. I apply online four times. First time I was timed out and had to restart. Second time I tried to make an online payment through Scotia but the link would not send me to a working transaction and the application cancels. Third time, I try to print the application, but the application still cancels. This is my fourth and hopefully final appeal that I have written on a word document so I would not have to remake the appeal the fourth time.
I will show the printed version of this appeal to Robin Dawes (October 16th) as a signed document (website did not specify what official document was needed).
