Petition Letter: To whom it may concern,
I am writing you this letter as an appeal to have my CHEM 282 incomplete grade extended to the winter semester. Over the past summer, and previous winter semester, I have been dealing with health issues which have caused me increased stress with my studies, in particular, courses with a high work demand ¿¿ such as CHEM 282. An extension of the CHEM 282 exam writing date would allow me to most effectively prepare because I would be able to adequately manage my health issues, and to receive course help during the normal period during which the course is offered (by auditing the class, and receiving individual help). I have spoken to my professor, who agrees with my idea, and the Chemistry Undergraduate Chair, who also assisted me with the process. If my request was granted, I would look into dropping a course from my current schedule to manage my course load. I have attached a screen capture of the email, which indicates the support of my professor; however, if necessary, please provide me an email address, and I will forward the original email on request. Additionally, I have attached letters from my psychologist and doctor which provide validity to my compromised health situation (two of which are password protected - the passwords being ¿¿3521¿ in ¿¿Ryan Note 1¿, and ¿¿psychologist¿ in ¿¿Ryan Note 2¿).
Thank you for your consideration, I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Ryan Grossman ¿¿ 10064076.
