Petition Letter: To whom it may concern,
I am writing to request that a course I took this summer through Athabasca University be accepted as a transfer credit to my Queen's degree. The course is Phil 254, expected to fill the logic requirement for my philosophy degree, and I took it on the recommendation of Professor Knight, chair of undergraduate studies. I completed the course but did not get it officially approved beforehand, because I was under the mistaken impression that direct permission from the philosophy department was sufficient to guarantee its acceptance as a transfer credit.
