Petition Letter: To whom it may concern,
I am requesting to appeal both GPHY 101 and GPHY 102 as a result of legal issues due to a motor vehicle accident that occurred over a week ago. I am legally required to live at home in Burlington, Ontario for the remainder of the semester.
I spoke with the professors of the GPHY 102 class and came to the conclusion that despite my success thus far in the course, the logistics will not work in my favour. There are three classes per week plus a lab which I will not be able to attend and because of this it will not allow me to sufficiently learn the remaining course material.
The remaining work in GPHY 101 is all group oriented and is based on your contribution to the group material and attendance. As a result of this and due to the fact I missed the midterm because of my current situation, there is no other option but to withdraw from this course. There is no possible way I could complete it.
This situation has been very hard on me mentally and physically and despite that I did try my best to find a way to make completing these courses a reality but it just will not work.
Thank you for your understanding during this very difficult time,
Steven Trojanovic
