Petition Letter

Petition Letter: One week before the mid-term, my roommate adopted two cats without previous notification to me. I have very severe chronic allergy(eczema) and asthma since I was born, so two cats in my home really had many negative impact on me, as elaborated below.
First of all, cat's fur is the allergen to me, which has been formally diagnosed by doctor. When cats were in my home, my body immediately reacted and red rash were everywhere on my skin and face. Some part of the red rash soon ulcerated so I took many pills contained high level of hormone to control.
It has been six weeks since cats are in my home, and my skin has not been fully recovered.
Because of the eczema caused by two cats who came into my home one week before the mid-term, I could hardly concentrate on reviewing for the mid-term. Although I tried my best in writing the mid-term of this course, the result is not desirable at all as the course really requires concentration but many of my body badly itched.
Due to this extenuating circumstance, it has been impossible for me to do well on this course. Therefore, I apply to drop this course at this time.
My roommate has been moved out and will transfer to Brock University for the following university studies. I will be very cautious next time whenever I find the roommate to ensure that I can concentrate on pursuing my academic goal.

New Information: Due to my allergic reaction towards cats are chronic I did not see a doctor in Kingston at that time because I do have the medicine that I need in my home, which I brought from China and covered by China's government insurance. Most of my medication documents for medicine, including the formal diagnosis on my allergy severity test of cat, are written in Chinese in last summer. I saw a doctor in KGH last year for the allergy caused by dog and the medication she gave me is exactly the same that I have.
I do manage to see a doctor today to verify that I am still recovering from the allergy caused by cat
