Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Thank you for taking the time to review my appeal to return to my studies at Queen's. My performance at Queen's was generally less than stellar. I believe my maturity and readiness for committing to my studies was nowhere near where it needed to be in order for me to succeed. In addition, due to my financial circumstances, I was generally stressed about my ability to make ends meet and often more focused on making money than on my studies.
20 years + later, I have a family, stability and a happy life. However, I want to teach my daughter the importance of finishing things you start and primarily for that reason, I would like to complete my degree. I am looking to take courses through distance education in order to reach that goal. I appreciate your time and look forward to your decision.
