Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Hello there, My name is Zexi Wang (10132907), I want to appeal to drop a course which is CLST 201, since the deadline for dropping the course has already passed.
During the exam period, I've got a bad cold, and had a fever. I also got bad headache, which made me dizzy all day. Because of all the symptoms, I found I couldn't focus to study for the exam at all.
On Jan, 20th, I got into a car accident, I didn't get physical injury very badly, but during that time, I lost appetite and couldn't fall asleep at all, which lasted for almost a week. There were many things need to be taken care of after the accident. And I got my first mid-term coming around that time. So I also didn't do well in my mid-term.
Classics is what I'm majoring in, so I don't want to get a bad mark on it. I will retake this course in the future.
