Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I am requesting consideration on my final paper and participation grade. I had received a D in participation, however, I had attended the vast majority of lectures as well as participating orally in discussions. In addition, I had attended classes although I was struggling with my health and received medical notes as well as providing a letter of accommodation from HCDS. Due to health concerns, I would also like to have my final grade for my paper reviewed as I had been coping with illness in addition to writing the paper at the same time. As I have provided medical documentation, I am requesting consideration on the final paper and participation grade within my overall grade calculation.
