Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I am appealing to enrol in the course, Introduction to Statistics 263 after the deadline. I took this online course the last winter semester and realized I needed to retake it once I recieved my final mark. I am graduating June 7th 2016 and I am planning on applying to graduate studies by December of this year. However, my final mark in this course is not a reflection of my overall potential and I need to boost my GPA in order to be competitive for continuing my studies. Once I received my final mark I started looking when I could retake it. However I submitted my return to studies form on the final day of add and drop for summer semester and did not know it took 2 weeks to process. Once the undergraduate office finally messaged me and advised me to appeal my situation, I took the necessary steps in order to enrol in this course because unfortunately this course is not offered in the fall semester. I know I will be able to quickly catch up since I have recently taken the course. Thanks for your time.
