I would like to appeal the above two courses due to mental illnesses I was suffering from during my first year at Queen¿¿s. I have been suffering from mental health issues for years; however this is the first year that they became completely debilitating. I was unable leave my residence room most of the time, causing me to miss countless lectures. This, along with an inability to concentrate on, and read, large sums of text, meant I did not have the background knowledge to do well in any other course work.
Due to these circumstances, I will only be attending Queen¿¿s on a part-time basis in the fall.
Your assistance in granting these appeals is greatly appreciated.
