Petition Letter

Petition Letter: I experienced a severe family members change for the first time in my life, which started from a divorce proceeding in November, 2015, and their marriage split up in the following year, which severely impacted my studying, I felt like nothing was getting done at that time. Also I didn¿¿t have too many close friend to speak to when having a hard time during that period. Besides, after the divorce of my parent, my mom turned to be the one and only financial supporter of my tuitions, I did run into some kind of financial difficulties on my daily spending.

Unfortunately, I failed to manage these extenuating circumstances, as the result, the academic failures really stress me out in the second semester. However, I tried to catch up my full-year courses from failing after I past over my parent¿¿s devoice, unfortunately that didn¿¿t make too much difference on my grades.

Academic Plan

Academic Plan: I have been talking to some of our counselors, my current circumstance became better than last year¿¿s, also I will be cooping with our counselors in the following academic year. Besides, the courses I am taking this year are more specific for the program I chosen (Geography & Geology), therefore I will be focusing on those required course instead of splitting up my time in several completely different fields like last year. I have confidence to achieve a good academic standing this year, as well as to get into honours degree program in Geography. Being released from academic probation can definitely make my second-year study less stressful and give me a chance to prove myself.
