Petition Letter: Dear Associate Dean,
I realise that that over the past three months, that I have been unwell (because I am a diabetic), and unable to fulfill my examination work. I would humbly request an extension until the end of September to fully recover. I was quite physically weak during the three months of the summer, and so I could not participate in my courses or any expectations of preparation.
I would like to know if I can obtain this last extension, although I know that one is expected to complete examinations on time. I could agree to provisionally take any examinations in the meantime should this not be counted toward my final grade.
I apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused my teachers.
