Petition Letter

Petition Letter: I am very sorry for contacting you late. I apologize for this delay. For past summer, I have spent quite some time what I want from my life, what I need to achieve in my life, what I need to change in order to achieve those goals that I set for myself, and what I need to do to find the inner peace for myself.

As for my reason to waive the 21-day deadline, I did not know that I could just proceed with the appeal process without recommendation letter from a professional. I was later told that I could just submit my case first and then get the recommendation after. Without this knowledge, I waited for Freeman Woolnough's recommendation letter to arrive, but he was on a vacation until after the deadline had passed. I received an email from Freeman on June 8th saying that he sent a letter of support to the Art/Sci Office, and then I proceeded with the appeals.

Amendment to Appeal 2597

Petition Type: 2
ID: 2598
Submitted: September 1, 2016 at 12:46:46 PM
Relevant Petition: 2597
New Information: I am extremely sorry for late reply. I've been spending some time reflection on what I need to change, how I am going to achieve those goals, and just simply what kind of life I want to live not just for this year, but generally through out my entire life.

As for my reason to waive the 21-day appeal, my reason is quite simple. When I was going through the appeal process, it said that I needed to have a letter of support or a document from a professional staff. I sent an email to my counselor Freeman Woolnaugh, but I received an automatic email reply saying that he was on a holiday. I waited for his reply with the letter of support, and heard back from him on June 8th with him explaining that he already submitted his letter to the Art/Sci Office that morning. I did not know that I could proceed without the letter of support.

Again, I'm truly sorry for the late reply, and I wish to hear back from you soon.
