Petition Letter: Dear Associate (Dean) Studies,
I would like to appeal to drop CISC 121 course from this summer. This summer has been a focus on my well-being and recovery process. My priorities this summer has been to continue to work on my mental health and work at my internship this summer. Things that I have done to improve my mental health are see more professionals with experience/expertise, different medication, did an internship that I was passionate about, and exercising, and having a set academic plan now.
My plan is to retake CISC 121 this fall semester in order to do a minor in computing. Having had a summer full of self-care and prioritizing my mental health, I have a more clear academic plan/goal. I will be doing a major in Gender Studies.
