Petition Letter: I have been having quite the difficult time with my schedule this term.
I was registered in GNDS 350, and swapped two of my GNDS 3.0 credit courses (including 350) for the 6.0 credit GNDS 427 course. I realized it was quite out of my comfort zone and would be difficult for me to understand. I want to return to GNDS 350 as I am really interested in this course and enjoyed the first lecture I attend.
I was also wondering if I could gain permission to register in LLCU 328: Gender, Development and Film in Latin America. I am doing a BAH Major in Gender Studies, and LLCU 328 is a cross-list gender studies option, and I am very interested in the course.
Since I dropped GNDS 427, which is a 6.0 credit course, I need to be enrolled in two 3.0 credit courses in order to stay on track for my degree plan This has been very stressful for me and I am devastated I missed the date to add courses by one day. I truly hope you can understand and grant me permission to enroll in GNDS 350 and LLCU 328.
