Petition Letter: Hello,
I have been on the wait list for LLCU214 since before the add/drop period and was never able to enrol in the course. It was unlucky that such a course filled up so quickly and I would really like to enrol in this course.
I have been actively emailing with Professor Santeramo and during those emails he stated that he is allowing me to enrol in the course should this appeal go through. I also have an email with Margaret Maliszewska stating that there is one spot open on SOLUS, which gives me some hope that I will be able to enrol in this course

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: Although I am appealing to enrol in a course after the add/drop period, I have confidence in my ability to be proactive to catch up with the work as I will be about speaking with the instructor and TA's of the course.
I am seriously considering applying to the Master of Arts (MA) in Criminology at the University of Ottawa that was the main reason that I wanted to take this course. As I am from Ottawa, applying for a Master's program in my hometown would be ideal.
I appreciate your time in reading through my appeal and am very hopeful that I can enrol in this course.
