Petition Letter: Dear Queen's University,
For the past two years I have has a senate sanction block on my account of approximately 5000 dollars which has prevented me from enrolling or completing any new courses at Queens.
My parents do not support me financially which is naturally a difficult situation for any student wishing to pursue a university degree. In order to make ends meet I have always worked full time, hence the difficulty in saving up enough to money to pay off the existing debt and enrol in new courses.
I successfully payed the remainder of the sanction block last week, only to realize that I would miss the 'course add' deadline of September 23rd due to the 5 business day delay period between banks in Canada and Germany, where I am based.
I would be extremely grateful if it would still be possible to enrol in this course. ARTH 250 is one of the few courses available online in ARTH, and as it is necessary for me to finish my degree, which I am absolutely determined too, I would ask your help in making this possible. Lastly, I have already purchased the necessary textbook and I'm ready to work.

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: If my appeal is granted I would like to continue working towards finishing my degree as quickly as possible. As stated above, I have spent the past couple years working full-time and saving my money in order to make this possible.
Beginning with ARTH 250, I plan to take 3.0 or 6.0 courses each semester via online distance learning with a focus on the ARTH courses necessary to my degree. A lower course load will allow me to balance my work load and job more appropriately. I am really looking forward to completing my BA, which has been too long in the making, and closing this chapter of my academic life.
