Petition Letter

Petition Letter: Dear Associate Dean,
My name is Godsi Bakhtiary; as a mature student I knew after many years coming back to school with a full- time job and having a family is not easy and on top of that English is not my first language, and at the same time I have ulcerative colitis which make me very sick some times with all the problems, I worked very hard for this course, didn¿¿t spend time with my kids, because I was trying to study harder that later on, I will be able to finish my degree, peruse for happiness and better job, spend all my summer Vacations and any time off from work on PSYC100 also I¿¿ve taken days off from work without pay to study I was so busy to do essays and quizzes on time; therefore I didn¿¿t realize that I did not pass the midterm I knew I didn¿¿t do very well but I didn¿¿t think that I didn¿¿t pass

I put so much time and energy into it and faced many significant technological challenges and other extenuating circumstances with my kids and work during the summer. I appeal to drop the cource, and removed from my transcript and would allow me to move on and not allow this course to affect my transcript.

As a result of what I went through, I didn¿¿t do well in exams I am very disappointed, discouraged and depress. For my future course I will try to do youga and relaxations and at the same time keep in touch with my DR. and Istructor more frequently. My Dr¿¿s letter is attached to my appeal
I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,
Godsi Bakhtiary
