Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I am appealing to drop this specific course due to health issues. I have been battling depression, anxiety and severe eating disorder for almost 3 years now, and unfortunately medication and numerous psychologists have only helped a little bit. I decided to take 6 courses at the beginning of the year, however, I have realized that this is too much. I am doing well in the course, but I can't keep up with it anymore. Last year, due to these same illnesses, I had to take a medical leave of absence beginning of the second term of school. I was lucky enough to be able to come back this year, and I want to be able to stay in school, and complete my degree and be healthy.
