Petition Letter
Petition Letter: I am currently in my third undergraduate year in Psychology. For this past year, I looked forward to my exchange experience at Ben Gurion University in Israel. I was given little information regarding the program, but chose my courses, which got approved by the Undergraduate Chair of Psychology during the Fall Semester.
Upon my arrival, I learned that the exchange program was not at all what I had expected. The majority of students were not at the same level of education as myself (some much older and some not enrolled in a university), and there were only 12 exchange students total. Therefore, due to the small number, I could not be guaranteed that I would even be able to take the courses necessary for my degree plan. I got in touch with the Canadian representatives at Tel Aviv University, who accepted me as a semester abroad student at the university within hours of my email. Despite having to now pay the Tel Aviv University fee, I was ensured a greater option of course and many more exchange students. Because of this last-minute change, I was advised by the International Programs office to complete an online appeal to the Associate Dean.

Academic Plan
Academic Plan: I plan on continuing to take the same amount of courses as I would at Queen's. There are many Psychology-related courses that I am very interested in. I will get them approved by the Undergraduate Chair within this week. I have my degree plan organized, and I am well aware of the courses I need to take. I will return to Queen's in the fall, after my semester abroad in Israel, and complete my fourth and final Undergraduate year in Psychology.
