Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: I'm humbly writing this appeal to you in hopes that you understand the current situation. After emailing and discussing with my Prof I have decided that it's best for me to drop this course due to the current family circumstances that have recently come up. I will be out of the country for some time of the remaining summer and will be unable to attend to my studies with minimal access to the computer and also missing the date of the exam. Considering all the circumstances I feel that it's best to drop the course. I sincerely hope you can consider my appeal and understand the circumstances, I look forward to hearing back from you.
