RE: 21 Day Appeal Waive
Date: March 3, 2017
Dr. Johanne Bénard,
¿
I would like to appeal to waive the 21-day appeal deadline. I am requesting this because I would like to continue through to the process of appealing my grades from the summer of 2016 semester.
I am appealing the 21-day deadline because I¿can honestly state that I was not aware there was a deadline in place for appealing grades. If I had known this, I would have appealed before the deadline.
The grades I wish to appeal are significantly¿weighing down my Grade Point Average which is having a significant negative effect on my collegiate career here at Queen¿¿s University, since I am currently on Academic Probation.
Not knowing the deadline to appeal and my poor grades are the mistakes of a first year student with little knowledge of how things operate at Queen¿¿s. I have shown progress under my academic probation since the Fall of this academic year and those past grades are hindering my opportunity of continuing my studies here at Queens.
I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to waive the 21-day appeal deadline to continue with appealing my summer 2016 semester marks.
Thank you for your time and consideration,
Donte Dehaney
