Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Due to poor mental health I have had to drop classes and last year had to drop out of school. I am currently in a program at the Douglas Hospital for multiple reasons, which has made me travel Kingston to Montreal every week this semester. I have taken on too much and I feel I am not capable to finish this course with success school wise and health wise. I am currently doing very well in the course, unfortunately I don't have the mental strength to go through with it. I was able to finish an entire semester at school, compared to last year, but with baby steps, and this is one of them. Thank you so much for understanding the difference removing this course will do for me.
