Petition Letter
Petition Letter: Dear Associate Dean:
I am appealing to drop the following courses: ENGL 467, ENGL 482, ENGL 421, ENGL 489, and RELS 355 because I have been diagnosed with a serious mental illness of an ongoing nature that is episodic. In February I started to become unwell, which made it difficult to complete some, if not all my work, and on March 2nd I was hospitalized due to the disorder I am inflicted with. I have been in hospital since that date and I am currently a patient at Providence Care working towards recovery. I have been unable to complete the work because of my current mental state, but I look forward to when I feel better again and will be able to resume my studies.
Please consider my appeal.
Thank you,
Emily Ranft
