Petition Letter

Petition Letter: Dear Dean of Arts and Science,

I am appealing to add Hist 260 for the summer and drop Hist 124.

I have been struggling with mental health issues and have been finding it difficult to stay on top of my academics. I took Hist 124 over the fall/winter semesters but was unable to complete it due to depression. I found out from my academic counsellor on Friday that I would need to retake Canadian History in order to graduate. By the time I tried to add the course on Monday it was too late. I have emailed the course instructor and she is willing to let me join the course if possible.

Academic Plan

Academic Plan: I plan on meeting regularly with my counsellor Arunima Khanna over the summer to help me stay on track.Also since it is one course it would be lighter for me to carry.
