Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Hi Appeal Board,

I realize I missed the enrolment date for CLST 205 as it was last Friday, although spots did not become available until it was too late to enrol. I have already taken this course in my third year of study and did not achieve the mark I hoped for. I Just finished my fifth year and prior to Friday I needed .2 grade points in order to graduate. Therefore I would have made my appeal on Monday except for I did not have all of my final grades. After getting my last grade on Tuesday it was good enough to make me have to achieve .085 grade points in order to graduate, therefore making the retaking of this course feasible. I would like to avoid coming back for a sixth year as it would only be for one course, and I would have to quit my job in order to come to school.
