Re: Academic Appeal to add courses after the May 5th deadline
I write to request permission to add courses for the May-July Session. I am currently 1.5 credits short of a degree and a degree is a necessary condition to a number of programs I am currently applying to. I understand the challenge I am taking on adding courses at this time and I plan to dedicate myself full time to these courses.
I had to attend to a family emergency out of country upon completing my winter term exams and had missed the deadline to add summer courses for the May-July Session.
I have also secured confirmations from course instructors supporting my appeal to add courses at this time. Their email confirmations are attached herewith.
