Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: Dear Sir./Madam,

My name is Qingyun Niu, my ID is 10161384.

I am writing to appeal to add one more summer course, Writing 120 fundamentals of effective writing, from July 4th to August 14th. which is in my shopping cart.

I was have 3 courses on queens online, you can check it from my class history.

I study general economics, this year is my final year. I still have 27 credit not finish before graduation. All of them are elective, I¿¿ve finished all the core courses.

My study plan was:
Queens online: 3 course, 9 credit
Peking university summer school: 3 courses, 9 credit
Xian Jiaotong Universtity summer school: 3 courses 9 credit.
so I can finish all the credit and apply for graduation at fall term.

However I got really sick at the end of April. And it will take a long time to recovery, I cannot afford 3 courses at that time due to illness, so I have to drop 2 of them. (you can check the class history)
I give the doctor notes to Prof Kennedy when I left kingston and I do not have any other copy now. I am sorry for that. But I think the email with Prof Kennedy and Jennine can prove my illness.

I feel better now and get healthy.
My current study plan is :
Queens online: 1 course(reading French) 3 credit
Peking university summer school: 4 courses, 12 credit (max)
2 courses in first 2 weeks and 2 courses in the last 2 weeks(max)
Xian jiaotong University summe school: 3 courses 9 credit.
The course in international summer school is max. But it can only be 24 credit, I need 27 credit to graduation.
I have to appeal to add one more summer course in queens, so that I can finish all the credit in summer and going to graduate this fall.

Otherwise I have to spend one more semester for just one course. And I have to wait until May to get the graduate diploma. I cannot find any job or go to postgraduate study during this time.

I am applying for postgraduate study in Australia and I havd received the offer from West Sydney University. The class going to start on January, 2018. So I reallt want to earn credit in summer and apply for graduate in fall.

Another reason is I am an international student, I am going to apply for work permit after I graduate. I can apply for work permit if and only if I am a full time student (enroll at least 3 courses each term). If my appeal be rejected and I cannot add the course during summer. I will been a part time student, and cannot apply for the work permit after graduation.

Would you please consider my situation and let me add this course. Thank you.
